About Joyce Taylor

Trained at Gray's School of Art Aberdeen specialising in Drawing and Painting. Awarded Patrick Allen Fraser Hospitalfield Scholarship. Postgraduate teacher training at Northern College Aberdeen.

Joyce taught art at Peterhead Academy before becoming an interior designed in Aberdeen for 7 years. Joyce returned to teaching in 1992 and now teaches Art and Design at Fraserburgh Academy.

Joyce also runs watercolour evening classes in Fraserburgh and drawing and painting workshops in the south of France.

Joyce has exhibited her work in many public galleries including the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh and Aberdeen Art Gallery. Her work is found in private collections in the UK, France, Germany, USA, Australia, Quatar, Jamaica, Canada, Norway and in public and corporate collections in the UK and France.
